Emek blends the trippy, counterculture aesthetics of the 1960s with the industrial, mechanical imagery of the 1990s, earning him the title "The Thinking Man's Poster Artist." Unlike many digital artists, Emek hand-draws his designs before using traditional silk-screening methods, sometimes running a single poster through the press up to seven times to achieve specific colors and textures.
