Promoting an exhibition in Paris of Malory's works. He was one of the first painters of the French figuration narrative movement in the 1960s, a movement created in opposition to abstract painting. Preoccupied with the violence of daily life, he developed themes using images issued directly from contemporary society sourced from photographs or movies.
