Description:

This portrait of French entertainer Tino Rossi was produced for Columbia Records in the 1950's by artist Gaston Girbel. Rossi is well known for his performance in the film Marinella (1936) and his epic contributions to the music industry, reportedly selling over 300,000 million records during his long career. In 1982 he was named a commander of the Legion of Honor for his contributions to France and French culture.
