Translation: Poster exhibition by Tadeusz Trepkowski
Tadeusz Trepkowski (1914-1954) was a Polish poster artist who was known for his concise and ascetic designs that focused solely on the subject. His designs were considered quite mature for his age, as he also did not attend any formal schooling for art. During his life, however, his designs were mostly rejected due to his straying from the ruling socialist realist convention of the time. This poster advertises an exhibition at the National Museum in Warsaw during April of 1956
