Poster promoting Linda Jenness for President of the United States during the 1972 presidential elections. She was the nominee of the Socialist Workers Party. She was aged 31 at the time of the election, not meeting the Constitutional age requirement (which requires that a person be 35 years of age or older to hold office), but the SWP was on the ballot in 25 states. The election was won by Republican nominee Richard Nixon. Poster features a black and white photograph of Linda Jenness speaking into a microphone, with red and white block lettering below it against black poster background.
