David Hockney is one of the most prolific artists of the 20th century. His design for the Olympics features a male diver, reminiscent of his normal work.

This poster is one of a series of 24 for the 1972 Munich Olympics. They were all created by popular artists of the time, and were linked to that particular artist's visual identity. The artists were told to avoid the use of any red and black on them (which were traditionally associated with Nazi Germany).
