[back] "'Dream of Greatness,' by Robert Charles Howe, is one of seven paintings in the Great Moments in U.S. Olympic History collection. Howe's painting captures one of the universal truths of Olympic hopefuls. It all starts with a dream of greatness. And from that dream grows the hope and the determination and the hard work necessary to achieve greatness. Sears, Roebuck and Co., in cooperation with the U.S. Olympic Committee, commissioned five American artists through the Saturday Evening Post, to recreate memorable scenes from our Olympic Heritage to help raise funds for the 1976 U.S. Olympic Team."

This is a double-sided poster. The original painting is on permanent display at United States Olympic Headquarters in New York City.
