This black and white poster promotes the beautiful Église Abbatiale de la Trinité in Vendôme, Loir-et-Cher, an 11th century Benedictine monastery. The building is a fascinating mix of Flamboyant Gothic and simple first church architecture, as well as High Gothic (the abbey's apse was rebuilt in the 13th century). Poster features a photo of a man boating down the river Loir with the abbey in the background, and a small map of France at the bottom left with its location marked.

One in a series of French travel posters designed to promote tourism and travel by train, specifically advertising the country's beautiful historic monuments accessible by train.
