A series by 45 international poster artists who cleverly reinterpreted the classic Gitanes silhouette of a Spanish gypsy woman playing the tambourine. This 1991 artist-commissioned series was a graphic tribute to honor Max Ponty, the famed designer of the original Gitanes cigarette posters.
