"Streets and Canals in Venice 21"

Black and white plate from 'Streets and Canals in Venice and in the Islands of the Lagoons'.

Plate 21 includes the following note in the book's annex: "CALLE DELL'ANGELO. — The Angel's Street, at S. Martino di Cas-tello, took its name from the basrelief of an augel under the neighbouring porch. The group of females in the street is composed of bead and bugle stringers."
