Plate 55 includes the following note in the book's annex: "ALL SAINTS' CANAL. - Takes its name from the neighbouring church of Ognissanti: it is one of the most picturesque in Venice THE TRIPLE BRIDGE AT S. ANDREA'S. - This bridge, as its name implies, consists of three branches uniting in one platform on its summit. This locality is famous in Venetian lepends, as Giovanni Battista Piantella, a famous delinquent, lived near it."
