Plate 68 includes the following note in the book's annex: "GRAND CANAL, from the Ferry of S. Tomà, - The Foscari and Rexxonico Palaces. (See Plates 66 and 69, in the first series) and the Guistinani palace in XVth century Gothic-style from designs by the architects of the Cà d' Oro, Giovanni and Bartolomeo Bon. This palace is composed of two buildings decorated with oriental marbles."
