Black and white plate from 'Streets and Canals in Venice and in the Islands of the Lagoons'.
Plate 95 includes the following note in the book's annex: "LA GRAZIA. - The church seen in the engraving was dedicated to S. Maria delle Grazie and the Covent was occupied by Capucin nuns; both were demolished in 1810. They contained two fine momuments to the Valiers, sculptures by Bernini, and pictures by Palma, Zanchi, Longhi and Tintoretto. The island was afterwards used as a sight of a powder-magazine which was twice blown up in 1849."
