Plate 92 includes the following note in the book's annex: "S. SERVOLO. (S. Servilio). - A church dedicated to S. Servilius by the Benedictines was erected on this island in 819. It came, at an unknown period, into the possesion of a family of Benedictine Nuns who fled from Candia. In 1715 it was occupied by the church and monastery, built by Giovanni Scalfarotto in the style of the Decadence in 1759."
