Plate 10 includes the following note in the book's annex: "OSMARIN CANAL, at SS. Philip and James', with the Priuli palace. This fine palace, formerly belonged to the Priuli family, and is remarkable for its ogival architecture; the singular window in one angle of the build. ing must be reckoned among the most characteristic remains of that style."
